I just made potstickers that are better than I've had at any restaurant! Well, okay, *almost* any restaurant. Granted, I didn't really make them myself. Just fried them myself. But still. Culinary baby steps.
Also, I modified a recipe in a vegan cookbook for oven-roasted vegetables that turned out AMAZINGLY well. You just take any veggies you have handy (I did squash, zucchini, tomatoes, peppers, and mushrooms), coat them in olive oil, red wine vinegar (probably other kinds of vinegar would be nummy too), salt, and pepper, and broil in some kind of oven-safe pan for about 20 minutes. It tastes delicious hot, and is also great cold on sandwiches, crackers, or mixed with hummus. Plus, it's a great way to get some use out of overripe veggies.
What I *need* to do is clean my apartment and attack my homework. What am I *actually* going to do? Oh, probably read Boy Meets Boy and watch a little Jeeves and Wooster. Ho-yay!
EDIT: Oh wait...I think a zucchini *is* a squash. Oh well. One was green, one was yellow. The end.
