Eminem's new song pisses me off. Okay, first of all, what the HELL has become of his flow? His delivery, over the years, has become to his original Slim Shady and Marshall Mathers LP self as Michael Jackson's face is to the kid in the Jackson 5.
What really bothers me, though, is that it's all TMZ and no human emotion. I don't care what he thinks of Lindsay Lohan. I didn't care what he thought of Christina Aguilera either. I cared about what he thought about Kim. I cared about what he thought of this Slim Shady construction. I cared about what he thought about looking back on his drug-addled misspent youth with tinges of both nostalgia and regret. I cared about his uneasy sense of racial boundaries. I cared. Past tense.
Eminem, stop Michael Jacksoning yourself.
